What we collect, and what we do with it.

Plainly, because a policy nobody can follow is the same as not having one.

What we collect

Your name, address, phone number and email when you give them to us. What you look at on this site and what you save. Photos you send us. And when you buy something, the details needed to take payment.

What we do with it

We sell flooring. Everything above is used to do that: to quote your job, to order your material, to turn up at the right house, and to stay in touch about work you are considering or have had done.

Photos you send us

If you upload a photo of a room, we keep it behind a link that only you have. It is never listed anywhere, the location data your phone writes into a photo is stripped before it is stored, and the file is re-saved by us so nothing rides along inside it. We use it to show you what floors would look like in your own house. We also use photos in our own marketing — a before and after, an example on this site, a picture in an email. Other people may see them.

We will not publish a photo that shows your home untidy, or anything personal in it. Somebody looks before anything goes out. But this is not a private or secure place to store pictures, and it is not meant to be. Do not send us anything you would not be happy for us to use.

To do this we pass your photo to outside services that can work out where the floor is in it. If you would rather that did not happen, do not upload the photo — call us instead and we will bring samples to you.

Already sent one and changed your mind? Tell us and we will stop using it.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your information.
• We do not text or email you about things you never asked about.
• We do not guess at anything about your household. We look at floors.

Text messages

If you leave a mobile number when you ask for an estimate, we may text you about that estimate: a reply to your request, a sample on its way, a time to come and measure. That is the only texting we do to customers. Messages come from our business number, message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP at any time to end them or HELP for help. Our own crew receives internal texts about new requests; each person has agreed to those and can be switched off by the office at any time.

Cookies and what the site remembers

The site remembers what you saved so it is still there when you come back, and it counts which pages get used so we can make the useful ones better. If you have arrived from an email we sent, we know it was you.
