Storm is a resilient floor made by ShawFloors, in the PATHWAYS 6 range. It costs $1.59 per square foot, or $81.61 per carton of 51.33 square feet. That is for the material, with delivery and installation not included. Construction is Luxury Vinyl Glue Down, the wear layer is 6 mil, it is not waterproof, the manufacturer lists these installation methods: direct glue. It is supplied and installed by Powell Flooring of 1811 Union Valley Rd, West Milford, New Jersey, who also sand and finish floors. Samples are free. Call 973-728-9717.
Cutting waste is the flooring lost to cuts at walls, doorways and the ends of rows.
Every real job has some. A rule of thumb:
0% when you are buying floors and the waste was already included.
5% for a professional flooring installer.
7% for a general contractor, or someone handy who does not specialize in floors.
10% for a homeowner or DIY who wants a little room for error.
Either way, we recommend an extra carton or two: for overages, for the unforeseen, and as
attic stock, kept back in case of accidental damage later, since a style may be discontinued
or unavailable by then.
Enter your room size and we will work out the cartons.

Price codes
